2027 Spring Baby Animal Experience.

Join us in Spring 2027 for a unique lambing experience. Not only will you have the chance to meet our lambs, but you'll also get to interact with our kid goats, piglets and we we may also have a Cria (baby alpaca) chicks and ducklings for you to meet.

Plus, our Spring Baby Animal Experience is unlike those at larger commercial farms. Your group or family will enjoy exclusive access to visit the pregnant ewes, lambs, pregnant goats, and kids in the barn and poly tunnel. You'll also meet piglets in our piggery. There will be no other groups in these areas at the same time, giving you plenty of time to cuddle the lambs and kids and capture those perfect photos.

Sessions last 90 minutes, and we are also offering 60-minute visits specifically for lambing / kidding and bottle feeding which will take place throughout the day. The timing of these visits ensures you will have exclusive access to the barn, though you may encounter other visitors around the farm.

What age group is this suitable for?

Our baby animal experiences are suitable for children aged 3 years and older, as well as adults. As our baby animals are delicate, we ask that adults hold the lambs, kids for younger children, allowing the children to stroke them on the adult's lap. Please note that pregnant women are not permitted on the farm during lambing time for the safety of both themselves and their unborn child.

What animals will we see on this visit ?

You will have the opportunity to see our pregnant ewes, ewes that have recently given birth, lambs, Boer goat nannies, Boer goat kids, Pygmy goat nannies and kids, sows, piglets, and possible Cria (baby alpaca) chicks and ducklings. We have a variety of sheep breeds, including Dutch Spotted, Jacob, Suffolk, Llyen, Shetland, Zwarble, Herdwick, Southdown, and Romney lambs. Our animals are due to give birth from late February through to mid-April.

Will we get to bottle feed a lamb?

We know that bottle-feeding a lamb can be a fun and unforgettable experience. However, we always prioritise keeping our lambs with their mothers, as this gives them the very best start in life.
To offer bottle-feeding experiences, we sometimes work with local commercial farmers to care for their cade (bottle-fed) lambs. At present, we won’t know until next spring whether these visits will be available. If they do go ahead, you will be able to book a bottle-feeding experience through this page.

Can we stay on the farm afterwards?

Sorry, this isn't possible as these are exclusive group visits. Other guests will be booked in after your session

Will we get to see any other animals?

You may spot some animals during your walk from the barn, polytunnel, piggery, and paddocks, but please note that you won't be able to see all of them. We do offer other experiences throughout the year that allow you to meet and feed all of our animals.
