Frampton Farm Becomes; An Approved City & Guilds Centre

At Frampton Farm, we’re always looking for ways to connect young learners with the natural world—and our new Nature Nook Home Ed Programme is the perfect opportunity! Designed specifically for home-educated children, this programme combines hands-on experiences, outdoor learning, and fun discovery activities that bring nature to life.

We are thrilled to announce that Frampton Farm is now an approved City & Guilds centre! This exciting milestone means we can officially offer land-based qualifications in animal care, horticulture, and land-based studies to learners aged 11 through to adults.

What This Means for Learners
Becoming a City & Guilds centre allows us to provide nationally recognised qualifications, giving learners the skills, confidence, and certification to progress in education or their chosen careers. Our courses are designed to be practical, hands-on, and engaging, making them perfect for anyone who loves working with animals, growing plants, or exploring life on the land.

Courses for All Ages
Our programme is inclusive and flexible:

  • Young learners (11+) can explore foundational land-based skills, from caring for animals to understanding plants and farm ecosystems.
  • Teenagers and adults can study more advanced qualifications, gaining practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge.
  • All ages benefit from our farm’s immersive environment, giving students real-world experience in animal care, horticulture, and sustainable land management.

Hands-On Learning at Frampton Farm
We believe that the best way to learn is through experience. Learners will:

  • Work directly with farm animals and learn essential husbandry skills
  • Take part in horticultural projects, from planting to harvesting
  • Explore land-based studies, including ecology, conservation, and sustainable practices

Our qualified instructors provide guidance every step of the way, combining classroom learning with plenty of practical, hands-on opportunities.

A Step Towards the Future
Becoming a City & Guilds centre is a significant achievement for Frampton Farm and reflects our ongoing commitment to high-quality, accessible land-based education. Whether your goal is to pursue a career in animal care, horticulture, or other land-based industries—or simply to enjoy learning in a farm environment—we now offer a clear pathway to nationally recognised qualifications.
