Our    Animals

We have a diverse mix of animals on our farm. While most are pets and rescue animals, we also have some commercial ewes for breeding. Their lambs are primarily sold to other smallholders as breeding stock or pets.

We have over 100 animals on the farm, including various breeds of sheep, pigs, Boer goats, pygmy goats, rescue hens, different breeds of chickens, alpacas, a cow, and numerous horses and ponies. It’s a lively and diverse farm, with plenty of animals to meet and learn about!

Many of our animals are used to human interaction and absolutely love being hand-fed and fussed over. It's always a delight to see them enjoying the attention, whether it's the goats, sheep, or alpacas—they're all very friendly and sociable!

Our  Horticulture area

We have a dedicated area of the farm for horticulture, featuring a fruit and salad polytunnel, an educational polytunnel where students can sow and grow their own produce, a greenhouse, a herb garden, vegetable patches, and a fruit patch. It’s a fantastic space for learning about gardening, sustainable growing, and the importance of fresh produce.

We are able to offer educational visits on growing your own food, where the children get to join in sowing and harvesting.

The farm is home to hedgerows and a variety of British native trees. In 2024, we began collaborating with students to plant additional trees, including a small apple orchard. Looking ahead to 2025, we plan to develop two new garden spaces: a sensory garden and a wildlife garden.

Frampton Farm is a sanctuary for wildlife, home to foxes, rabbits, badgers, and various bird species. While many trees have fallen over the years, the family is dedicated to planting thousands of UK native trees, aiming to boost wildlife numbers and support environmental sustainability.
