Adult care farming taster session

A taster session specifically for adults with additional learning needs. Join us for a 3-hour session, meet our animals, spend time feeding, petting them and assist our farmers with their morning animal care routine.

The taster session is a mixed group experience, we limit the number of attendees to 6 adults with additional needs and their carers / support workers.

It is the ideal time to see how the farm operates and whether it would be the right placement for them to attend more frequently as part of a small group session or one-to-one provision.

Please note that our land is on a hill and not suitable for those with limited mobility or wheelchair users currently.

October Sessions

Monday day care farming group October.   

10am-3pm and is for adults with additional needs, such as neurodiversity. They work together to run the farm for the day, assisting us in preparing feed, feeding the animals, animal husbandry, mucking out, field maintenance, harvesting, sowing seeds and much more.

Book now for the following dates:

 Mon Oct 7th to Mon 28th Oct (4 weeks) 

 £60 per day - payable in advance.

 If you would like to book and spread the cost please email us - bookings must be paid in full before Mon 7th October.

November Sessions

Monday day care farming group November.    

10am-3pm and is for adults with additional needs, such as neurodiversity. They work together to run the farm for the day, assisting us in preparing feed, feeding the animals, animal husbandry, mucking out, field maintenance, harvesting, sowing seeds and much more.

Book now for the following dates:

Mon Nov 4th to Mon Nov 25th (4 weeks) 

£60 per day - payable in advance.
