Lambing Visits at Frampton Farm

Join us for an exclusive private visit to see our lambs and kids.

Pre - booking essential

Exclusive Lambing    & Kid Goat Visit.

Join us in Spring 2025 for a lambing experience with a difference.

Our lambing / kidding experience is different to larger commercial farms. Your group / family will have exclusive time visiting the pregnant ewes, lambs, pregnant goats and kids in the barn and poly tunnel. There will be no other groups in these areas at the same time as you, so you will have plenty of time to cuddle the lambs / kids and take photos.

Sessions are 60mins long and this year we are also offering a Spring baby animal visit which is 90mins long. The timing of the visits means you will not be sharing the barn but may see other visitors around the farm at the same time. Click here to see further information on our Spring baby animal visits.

What age group is this suitable for?

Our lambing / kidding visits are suitable for children aged 3 years + to adult. Our baby animals are delicate, and we ask that adults hold the lambs and kids for younger children. The children can then stroke the animals on the adult's laps.

What animals will we see on this visit ?

You will get to see our pregnant ewe, ewes who have given birth, lambs, Boer goat nannies, Boer goat kids, Pygmy goat nannies and Pygmy goat kids. We have various breeds of sheep and hope that we will have Dutch spotted lambs, Jacob lambs, Suffolk lambs, Llyen lambs, Shetland Lambs, Zwarble lambs, Herdwick lambs. Of course, until they are scanned in January we won't know for sure.

Can we stay on the farm afterwards?

Sorr,  this not possible at this moment in time for safety reasons. We do have some electric fencing in areas and are unable to allow visitors to walk around without a member of our team.

Will we get to see any other animals?

You may see a couple on your walk from the barn to polytunnel but will not be able to see all of the animals. We do offer other experiences through the year which include meeting and feeding all our animals.

Who is the visit    Suitable for?

This experience is suited to children aged 3 years to adults.

Our land is on hills and some area can get muddy in wet weather therefore we are sadly not able to accommodate wheelchairs or pushchair to our fields. However, for this visit it is a little more accessible.  The barn area and track to the polytunnel are passable. Please drop us an email once you have booked so we can make sure we adapt the access into the barn and polytunnel for wheelchairs on the day of your visit.
