Join us in Spring 2025 for a lambing experience with a difference.
Our lambing / kidding experience is different to larger commercial farms. Your group / family will have exclusive time visiting the pregnant ewes, lambs, pregnant goats and kids in the barn and poly tunnel. There will be no other groups in these areas at the same time as you, so you will have plenty of time to cuddle the lambs / kids and take photos.
Sessions are 60mins long and this year we are also offering a Spring baby animal visit which is 90mins long. The timing of the visits means you will not be sharing the barn but may see other visitors around the farm at the same time.
Our lambing / kidding visits are suitable for children aged 3 years + to adult. Our baby animals are delicate, and we ask that adults hold the lambs and kids for younger children. The children can then stroke the animals on the adult's laps. Pregnant ladies are not permitted on the farm during lambing time, for their unborn baby and their own safety.
We understand that bottle feeding a lamb is fun however we hope that all of our lambs will be feeding from mum as this is the best start for them. We anticipate having around 60 ewes lambing in 2025 and there is a small possibilty we may have one or two lambs to bottle feed. If we do have any bottle fed babies then guests who are here during their feed time will be able ot assist. Please note there is no guarantee of bottle feeding.
You will get to see our pregnant ewe, ewes who have given birth, lambs, Boer goat nannies, Boer goat kids, Pygmy goat nannies and Pygmy goat kids. We have various breeds of sheep and hope that we will have Dutch spotted lambs, Jacob lambs, Suffolk lambs, Llyen lambs, Shetland Lambs, Zwarble lambs, Romney lambs, Valais Lambs, Southdown Lambs, Herdwick lambs. Of course, until they are scanned in January we won't know for sure how many babies are due and when. We anticipiate birthing to commence around 3rd March and continue until late April.
Sorry, this not possible at this moment in time for health & safety reasons. We do have some electric fencing in areas and are unable to allow visitors to walk around without a member of our team.
You may see a couple on your walk from the barn to polytunnels but you will not be able to see all of the animals. We do offer other experiences through the year which include meeting and feeding all our animals.

My son visits this farm once a week through school . He has ADHD and ASD and everyone at the farm have really made an impact on his life in general! We were very kindly invited as a family to visit and see what H gets up to on his visits . We all had the best time the whole feel of the farm is relaxing, Calm and Happy 😊. All the animals are so very well looked after which you can tell by how affectionate they are ❤️. Thank you.

We had such a lovely experience during our visit, feeding the lamb and holding the baby goats. Zenan was a great tour guide.

This has been on my bucket list for a very long time but I didn't want to do it in a crowded environment with lots of people who may scare the animals. Frampton Farm was exceptional we had a private visit of 4 adults it was educational and a lot of fun interacting with the baby lambs and goats and all the other animals that are looked after on the farm. We were lucky enough to feed the lambs and the whole experience was so memorable. We have a grandson who is 2 and we hope to return with him next year when is a little bit older and understands more. Thank you to Karen and the team for an amazing experience we highly recommend this experience.

An outstanding visit. The owners have really taken a corner of the market in an excellent fashion. I’ve taken most of my Grandchildren round and each experience has been different, but just as enjoyable!! An excellent attraction!
